The composition has the character of an artist’s palette or a studio wall after years of use, where every new mark overlaps something that came before. Dense areas of pigment give way to open space, preserving the fingerprints, brush marks, and scattered droplets that are normally cleaned up or edited out of finished artwork.

Our Italian manufacturing partners sit at the base of the Medieval foothills of Tuscany, about halfway between Florence and Pisa. This small factory, founded by two friends Vincenzo and Franco over forty years ago, is one of the last that is still family-owned and operated, with two generations of craftsmen working and riding side-by-side every day.
