Sakura Women's Jersey

$160.00
Designed by hand in NYC. Made in Italy

Cherry blossom trees, or "Sakura", arrived in the U.S. as a gift of friendship from Japan in 1912. For a few short weeks each year, they take over.

The design began as a splattered painting on an icy winter night, right after a long, mind-numbing trainer session. That feeling of being stuck inside, waiting for the season to turn, is baked into it.

Everyone says they look forward to spring. Cyclists treat it more like something owed to them. In New York, the first cherry blossoms in Central and Prospect Park mark that shift. After months of cold and grey, it feels like seeing color for the first time.

The surface is built from layered splatter and gesture. Loose black lines move across a field of soft blues and washed color, with splatters of white and pink as the petals.

The blossoms come and go so quickly each year. This is our way of holding onto that moment and carrying it with us a little longer.

Performance Fabric

Crafted with purpose, each panel uses a different technical fabric to optimize performance. Lightweight, breathable materials form the core, while aero-optimized, omni-stretch hexagonal fabric on the sleeves delivers a precision fit. Bi-directional mesh side panels provide ventilation and structural support, and the micro-perforated, SPF 50 back panels offer full coverage without compromising breathability.

Longer Sleeves

On-trend longer sleeves for better coverage

No-Bounce Pockets

Drum-tight back pockets lay tight against the jersey for no sag. The hexagonal mesh fabric stretches to securely hold a phone, wallet, tube, or vest in place.

OLD - WORLD CRAFTSMANSHIP

Our Italian manufacturing partners sit at the base of the Medieval foothills of Tuscany, about halfway between Florence and Pisa. This small factory, founded by two friends Vincenzo and Franco over forty years ago, is one of the last that is still family-owned and operated, with two generations of craftsmen working and riding side-by-side every day.

SMALL BATCH

Crafted in a small family-run factory with generations of experience, where time-honored craftsmanship meets modern testing and precision to ensure every piece is built to last.

SLOW FASHION

Even with the most modern fabrics, the best sportswear is still manufactured in small batches using traditional craftsmanship. Keeping quantities low allows the focus to remain on quality.
